Gap-fill exercises are an excellent way to practise vocabulary in different contexts and can be used to broaden the student's understanding of the range of meaning of vocabulary. The Compleat Lexical Tutor
An important site for students and teachers of ESL. The site includes vocabulary levels tests, concordancing materials for all AWL words and a vocabulary profile (Web-Profiler) program that can analyze student papers for a count of word types.

English for University is a useful site for students hoping to pursue post-secondary studies in an English-speaking institution.
